On the way home we stopped just outside Salida and went for a walk near this river- don't know what it is called. There is so much water flowing everywhere from the spring runoff that the river was outside it's normal banks and these trees were surrounded.
Maxx in the crate in the back of the Scout on the way home. He looks so happy in this picture but actually he whined almost the whole time we were in the car with a few bouts of silence. We need to figure that one out if we are going to keep taking him places!

Looks like an awesome trip you 3 had (except for the long whiney car ride). Augie was annoying on short trips, but he'd settle down for long road trips. Would a rawhide occupy him? -me
