Reasons why I probably shouldn't go to anymore thrift stores for awhile.
I actually did need these for Diane's wedding decorations - hopefully she likes them. The Dr. Pepper was actually mine from before but grouped in for the coolness of the vintage bottles. I want to keep them.
New old stock roll of vintage wallpaper, very cool. Do I need it? Not so much.
Pretty leaf dish, in perfect condition.
Super cute birdy dish, handpainted by Lynette. I couldn't resist that face- had to buy him before someone broke him.
Another unused Bates List finder.
Vintage never used wedding guests book - why? I don't know, because it was perfect and cool?
And last but not least my ceramic pig. I saw him last week and put him on a top shelf at the ARC so he wouldn't get damaged or broken. He was still there so it was meant to be!
At least it was all half price. Right?

So my boss came in to my office last night yelling about reports that he doesn't get and said (and he has said this on more than one occasion) "I don't know what you do back here all day." So I typed it up for him last night- 4 pages. I think that should clear things up for him!

OK I've got nothin'. Living the dream at work, 8 billion degrees outside. Here's some pretty, colorful glass floats I bought at a yard sale - I just bought the bowl at a different estate sale on Sunday. I think I need a bigger bowl.

I only took pictures at work today. So here are three cool antique souvenir spoons that I will be listing on eBay soon. The top two are dated 1906 and 1912 and the third looks to be of a similar vintage.

I was out driving around on the Westside when this Mom and baby stepped out in front of my car. I grabbed the camera to take a few pictures and I got this one then the battery died! I still haven't learned the lesson of battery charging - at least I got an ok picture!

Birthday Fiesta potluck today for Len and Phoebe. Phoebe brought this super cute bull pinata but no one wanted to hit him because he is too adorable. So we will keep him for awhile and when it's time we will take him out!

Today I spent a good part of the day scanning and changing the colors on this cool picture to make a poster! I bought this booklet on eBay several years ago with the intention of doing this and I finally got around to it. I hope it turns out as good as I think it will. Here is the original image:
Very cool from the start but now it will fit my color scheme a bit better - oh and I had to shorten it a bit to fit it in the frame I already own.

The neighbors were having a yard sale but I drove on by because I don't really need anything. But then I got to the corner and saw their signs- the yard sale was to raise money for their dog who was undergoing chemotherapy! So I came around the block and stopped. I found these beautiful rhinestone pieces and the lady selling them said $2 a piece! I thought that was too cheap so I gave her $15 for the group. I still think that was too cheap but that's all the money I had! I hope her doggie gets better!

I did stop at a few stores yesterday in my quest for cardstock. I took a detour at the Salvation Army and found my lounge chair. I have been wanting one for awhile so I can sit out in the yard on the grass. Only $2.50!
