I had fun painting mini paintings today. Just trying to figure out a few ideas. Then I Photoshopped this one larger and put it on the fireplace. Kinda cool!

Ice Festival in Cripple Creek. They obviously had some warm weather because many of the sculptures were melted and some they were completely re-doing. The theme was cartoons. Not my favorite year for this!

Reason #1 why Summer is better than Winter.
In the Summer you never have to come out and spend 15 minutes getting sunshine off your car just so you can go somewhere that you don't want to be. I'm so over it.
Also doesn't it always make you feel better when you are criticized and told what a shitty employee you are. Yes, it does.

This little sweetie lives in the neighborhood. I'm not sure what's wrong with her little ears but I think she was injured at some point. We are going to name her but we haven't settled on a name yet. Sally or Ginny, maybe. Her name is Ella-May!

My favorite mailbox in the neighborhood so far is this stone mountain that I think looks like Pikes Peak! Also seems to have a fountain on the back - I really hope they get that going in the Summer.
