Tonight Carl and I went to see "Everyone But You" a film by musician and amateur filmmaker Eric Shiveley. I heard about this movie last year when it was the opening night selection at the Indie Film Festival but I was unable to go. Last night I got an email that it was playing today. Despite the incredibly short notice (who sends out announcements the night before?) I told Carl that we had to go. We loved it. He leaves behind all the things you are supposed to want- a good job and a nice house- to build a small house/recording studio in the San Luis Valley and work on making it in the music industry. I have great respect for him and what he did - living for his dream.
He has a new video on YouTube for his song "You Don't Know Me At All" .
It is my new favorite song.
