The guy standing is selling 4 stolen 100 ounce bars of silver to the shop. We purchased two yesterday and earlier today I was getting video ready for the police. This guy came in this afternoon to sell us more but we were ready for him. Tom delayed him while writing down the serial numbers of the bars, then he got up to blow his nose and went into his office to compare the serial numbers to the stolen bar list. Sure enough they were stolen! So as Chad was calling the police, he completed the transaction and wrote the guy a check. The guy left and Tom immediately called the bank to inform them not to cash it. Then we sent the police to the bank where the guys were arrested! This is from the video I recorded for the police. Hooray!
Okay here is my problem with criminals- what kind of a dumb ass steals something like this and then sells it locally? Go to a different state or at least a different city- what the hell is wrong with people!
