Another hike today - much nicer but still lots of climbing! Oh well this time it was worth it!

We went on a hike today which turned into a death march where I swear we went straight up a mountain. It turned out that we missed the trail and we were on some mining road or something - it was really hellish and super steep. Still pretty though- especially the pine trees that looked like they were decorated with yellow ornaments.

A bit of a rainy first real day of vacation but that's ok. We hung around town, bought some, groceries, did a little shopping and then had some beer!
