Trying out the big lightbulb in it. Looks cool but I don't think that's the way to go.
Otherwise we are busy moving all the rest of the stuff in, we have 4 days until snow comes!

The painters were finishing up and moving their ladder out and it hit the hall light. Bummer- glass broken. I had been wondering if it was the original glass and it definitely was. I found this catalog page featuring it and the flush mounts also- I bet those were previously in the hall. ANYWAY I'm sure there is no chance of finding replacement glass so I will have to try something else. The painter guy felt so bad (and did reimburse us for it). Lesson learned though- take things like this down if work is being done!

Pretty sunsets going on at this house - it's nice to be able to see the mountains instead of being on the side of it.
