At the zoo this morning we saw these bushes with Dr Seuss looking pink & white wispy tufts. I found out they are called Apache Plume.
This porcupine dude was chewing on a stick like a dog. He was pretty cute!

I have had this medal on my desk for awhile because I like the sun on the obverse. I just realized that it is commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Superior School of War! How weird.

I love this house on 21st street. I was stopped there in traffic on the way home, so that's why the tree is blocking!

I've seen many of these 1906 Southwest Expedition Discovery of Pikes Peak So-Called Dollars over the years but none with such beautiful rainbow toning. Or with this holder- that no doubt caused the toning!

Mama deer just gave birth to two fawns. One was trying to stand when we walked by. We left quickly to give them some privacy- she looked nervous!
