We got a King Cake at work today sent to us from the Manny Randazzo Bakery in New Orleans. I thought it was fun but no one else was much interested in it. It tastes like a cinnamon roll with lots of frosting. There is a tiny plastic baby hidden somewhere inside and if you get it you are King (or Queen) for the day! I didn't get it.

I'm not really one for cooking but I do like tasty food. I made Coconut Curry Vegetables for dinner - very yummy but I will double the sauce next time.

The Cripple Creek Ice Festival. The theme this year was a Military Salute Carved in Ice. I thought this one was very cool. It is a replica of a WWI Victory Medal.

Dinner at Jack Quinn's. You can't really see it but the group in the corner are all musicians playing Irish music - they call it the Irish session. We had a front row seat - pretty cool!
