Watching the football games and having some snacks! The Lions lost, and they are done for the year- hope they fix things up for next season. The Broncos continue to win- might be their year!

Carl and I drove around to look at lights after dinner. I wish people kept them up longer - January gets so depressing.

I am not such a fan of snow, and I really hate to find my car covered in it in the morning. But then I noticed it was the super fluffy kind and it was so cold that you could still see all the perfectly formed little snowflakes- it was sooooo pretty!

We were almost out of treats and then Angela brought us a new batch! I really like the Peppermint Fudge- of course the other stuff is good too!

I got to stop and visit with the Mat(t)hews today on my way home from Nebraska. I also delivered their wedding present that I finally finished - the project was more difficult than I thought, but I think they turned our great. We gave them these glasses and a bottle of New Glarus Belgian Red to go with them!

I almost have the decorating done. Hopefully it will get me into the holiday mood. Here is the fabulous wreath that Angela made for me last year - I hung in right by the front door next to the tree and it looks super cute.

We took Minnie to the park before we took her to the adoption fair today. It is so hard because we never know if we are saying goodbye. She came back to us today but she does have a nice family interested in her. We should know by next Saturday if they will adopt her.

Today we went to Dreampower and signed the paperwork to surrender Minnie. She goes to the adoption fair tomorrow. I hope she gets adopted right away and at the same time I hope she doesn't. A new home would be for the best but, we will miss her so much.

We don't have our lights up so I took a picture of the neighbors. Unfortunately I scared her half to death because I was skulking around the house. Oops.
